My Grandmother once said to me

Child in life you must live all the seasons

There is a time for spring

When every experience seems new and fresh

And you are guided by a warm breeze of possibility

It’s a time where your joy is at its brightest

A time where your eyes are finally able to see clearly the sparkling colors

Of the ever veiled Hope

It’s a time where out of every corner of your eye you can catch life blooming

Always remember to feel the joy of spring.

There is a time for summer

When life is sizzling with adventure

And you are at the edge of a high cliff

Fearless and bold

Ready to dive into the inviting embrace of the water below

It’s a time to travel, explore, and fall in love

A time to make the best of memories with your friends

Always remember to live inspired during summer.

My Grandmother once said to me

There is a time for autumn

When life is carrying you through the most colorful changes

And cool winds are sweeping through your soul

Calling you to let go of things in your past

It’s a time of meditation

A time to walk with nature and see it reflect back the beautiful changes within you

Always remember to listen to the winds of change autumn brings.

My Grandmother once said to me

Child in life you must live all the seasons

There is a time for winter

When all life seems departed, forgotten

And all roads appear to lead towards an unending cloud of harsh gray nothingness

For some it’s a time to travel down the cold road of depression and bitterness

A time to walk the streets of isolation and loneliness

But child, I tell you

Do not travel down that road

Do not walk those streets

Rather, bundle up and look for the road where the sky is still blue

And the trees are adorned with glistening jewels of white

It is the road of courage and hope

Always remember to find and enjoy the beauty of winter

It does not last forever.
